Apu-trilogie | Satyajit Ray

(Indian) cinema highlight

We Are Public members are supporting our makers. Join them?

Leave the wintry Netherlands and visit 50s India through Satyajit Ray's legendary coming-of-age trilogy. Each film is a masterpiece filled with subtle insights, layered emotions and sharp observations of family ties, love, poverty and the Indian caste system. Not to mention a solid soundtrack by master of the sitar, Ravi Shankar. Watching the films consecutively on the big screen adds even more depth and meaning to them than by watching them individually. And besides, when will you ever get this opportunity again?
Selected by: Inez de Coo, Film and art curator

We Are Public-members will receive a combi-ticket which allows free access to the complete trilogy. You can also visit the films separately by using the same ticket. All films will be subtitled in English.
