The solution to the refugee issue

In Bulgaria, on the border with Turkey, lies a shrinking, little village. Having lost its youthful generations to the big city, the town’s population has dropped to just 38 residents. And yet, every day, tens of refugees pass through the village on their long, westward journey. Ivan, the resident mailman, has decided to embark on a revolutionary mayoral campaign built on a single promise: to open the dying town up to the fleeing refugees. He wants to offer them a home and a new beginning. But not everyone agrees with old Ivan. By zeroing in on this little village, The Good Postman offers us a window into contemporary global politics.
