In 2005, legendary saxophone player, composer and music innovator John Zorn established The Stone, a non-profit club for experimental music in Greenwich Village, New York. This summer, The Stone is travelling through Europe with a group of new jazz musicians selected by Zorn himself. This evening, pianist Brian Marsella and his trio perform the Masada-series: Jewish-inspired compositions by Zorn’s jazz quartet.
Tim Sprangers (1984) studied Media & Culture and Music Sciences at the UvA.
