Tonight only We are Public members get an exclusive tour through the exhibition 'WATER: A SOURCE OF LIFE AND DESTRUCTION'. Curator Colette Olof and our 'own' artist Tina Farifteh each will spend half an hour sailing with us over peaceful babbling brooks & raging tidal waves. Start your weekend off right!
Astrid Vromans (1989) is a cultural jack-of-all-trades with a background in art, history and architecture, in addition to being programme coordinator and curator of Visual Arts & Society. After studying Cultural Heritage and Art History, she worked as a producer at music festivals for years. Eventually she rediscovered her love for the visual arts and started to focus on making programmes related to talent development and (social) design/science. Outside of We Are Public, she's involved in other cultural organisations such as Baltan Laboratories and has a specific love for (art in relation to) biology
