Inspired by Giorgio Andreotta Calò's controversial exhibition, in which the windows of the Oude Kerk were coloured red like the red-lit windows in the Red Light District, artist Aimée Zito Lema spent three years researching conflict situations around Amsterdam's oldest building. The results of this research can now be seen in various forms, such as distorted, projected photographs and poetry by young people, inspired by the bureaucratic paperwork surrounding Giorgio's court case.
