Theatre and dance curator
Roos Wonders (1994) is programme coordinator and theatre & dance curator. After having completed her studies in cultural and social anthropology in Utrecht and an internship at the Jodensavanne foundation in Suriname, she rolled into sales and events at the Jewish Cultural Quarter in Amsterdam and at De Schuur in Haarlem. Based on her fascination with society and interrogative art, Roos combines a variety of disciplines to connect important stories with audiences. Currently, she is also involved as a booker with the new Boring festival in Haarlem and as an executive producer for a music documentary about women's rights in Mexico. For We Are Public, she is on a quest to discover hidden gems, shocking and interrogative art, out of an insatiable urge to connect audiences with stories that refresh their worldview.
