Contemporary Spanish dance
Modern dance company Introdans takes you on a trip to the Spanish Mediterranean Sea. Latin temperament, Spanish sensuality and a joyful lust for life are the ingredients for Méditerranée. The show exclusively features creations by Spanish choreographers, all of them varying in age, experience and style. They are kindred spirits, however, all favouring an intuitive approach to dance and grounding their choreographies in the music that personally inspires them. Cayetano Soto has created a new duet especially for this show. Jorge Pérez Martínez has created the opening ballet for Méditerranée in which he lets the complete Introdans ensemble take to the stage. The sensual and overwhelming Rassemblement by Spain’s best-known choreographer Nacho Duato rounds off this evening filled with the spirit of Spain.
