A musical evening with three very different musicians

Three unique musicians have been invited for this latest edition of Kernel Panic, a concert series of surprising electronic and acoustic acts put together by Thijs Geritz. Sjoerd Leijten will perform an improvised piece using the Japanese sequencer instrument tenori-on, a toy piano and his own, homemade music software. Guitarist Wiek Hijmans was the first ever electric guitarist to attend the Manhattan School of Music and has dedicated his life to integrating electric guitar performance into the classical tradition. Completing the bill is pianist Tomer Baruch, whose sounds draws from a vast range of influences, including jazz, pop, post-African and experimental electronic music.
