Thankfully there are many podcasts and online conversation to watch and listen to in order to increase your knowledge on literature, science, philosophy and more! In-depth podcasts like Dipsaus and uncensored conversation from Studio B: Unscripted will bring new perspectives straight to your living room.

De Balie TV
At De Balie TV you can rewatch previously recorded conversations and readings that took place at De Balie, such as A Case for More Migration by writer Suketu Mehta and Faking Fake News by journalist Craig Silverman.

Through the YouTube channel of the Utrecht BAK basis voor actuele kunst you can enjoy their many readings and discussions about art, philosophy and politics, such as readings by Judith Butler, David Harvey and Claire Bishop.

In these times of crisis, Amsterdam storthouse Mezrab is broadcasting a new live edition of their brand-new MTV (MezrabTV) every Wednesday and Friday at 20:00, featuring a different talented storyteller each time.

School of Life
The School of Life isn’t staying behind and is providing all of us at home with their online talks: Wat te doen in gekke tijden (What to do in crazy times). Every business day at 13:00 you can listen to 45 minutes of accessible, philosophical conversations about relevant topics such as Living radically different, Cheerful pessimism, and Learning to live together again.

Dipsaus podcast
Our most essential podcast tip: Dipsaus for “different sounds” and current topics discussed by women of colour.

News channel Al Jazeera is offering uncensored conversations between renowned speakers on art, politics and philosophy at Studio B: Unscripted, such as British director Ken Loach and French writer Édouard Louis.

Soundtrack City
Need a breath of fresh air? Soundtrack City offers downloadable audio city walks. Walk through Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hoorn, Weesp and Vlieland whilst listening to subjects such as the Amsterdam School, working-class neighbourhood De Meeuw and exotic flora. And of course, observing the 1.5 metres distance rule on your way. 

Het Utrechtse stadslab RAUM en Amsterdams kunstenaarsplatform Hard//hoofd werkten samen aan de zesdelige literaire podcastserie Ansicht. In elke aflevering neemt een schrijver je in een kort verhaal mee naar de stad van de toekomst.

STRP Festival 2020
Unfortunately, Eindhoven-based STRP Festival had to close their doors, but they are marching forwards online! Two events will be live-streamed: Scenario #6 – The End of the World on 2 April at 20:00, about a future in which plants and animals are equal to humans, and the live radio show JaJaJaNeeNeeNee on 2 April at 20:00.
