Singalong at Carré
Amsterdam’s Royal Theatre Carré opens the doors for everyone who wants to be part of one of the largest choirs in the Netherlands during the Meezing Messiah. Not just as part of the audience of the bombastic spectacle, but in fact as one of the singers. Georg Friedrich Händel’s oratorio Messiah will be performed together with soloists Jennifer France (soprano), Ulrike Schneider (alto), Nico Darmanin (tenor) and Lucas Jakobski (bass). No need for auditions or any other entry requirements. And, the choir piece Hallelujah has collectively been imprinted on the brain.
Information sing-alongs
You’re welcome to take a seat in the room from 09:45 onwards. We will try to place as many voice types together as we can. At 10:30 the repetitions will start with all sing-alongs, the four soloists, the choir Consensus Vocalis and the VU Orchestra.
