Ben Terwel (1989) is the programme coordinator of We Are Public for Delft, Leiden and The Hague. Next to that, he also curates the crossover and experimental music selection. He graduated from the interdisciplinary Interfaculty of ArtScience at the Royal Conservatoire and Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 2012. There he educated himself as a sound artist and performer, with an emphasis on electro-mechanical sound installations and self-made musical instruments. Over the course of time, he developed a broad and playful interest for the role of art in the twenty-first century, especially when it comes to technology, ecology, food, physicality and democracy.
