Whenever I hear the name of this adventurous music festival, I subconsciously reach for my paper handkerchiefs. On which I already wrote Blanck Mass, Binkbeats and Eut as highlights. And don't miss Weval!
It may have started out as a wild plan by a group of befriended curators, but Sniester has emerged as one of The Hague’s most beloved music festivals. Sniester is all about breaking boundaries and criss-crossing musical genres on a journey of discovery. With the sixth edition just around the corner, here are our tips for the Friday: the dreamy beats of production duo Weval, Binkbeats surrounded by a staggering 50 instruments (he’ll play them all), the soundscapes and emotional beats of Blanck Mass, for whom each song has a special meaning, and EUT, the five-piece Amsterdam post-pop band rockers who unleash a heady dose of 90s rock.
