The H.J.E. Wenckebachweg in Amsterdam is a disorderly place, where luxury apartments are being built right next to Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers. Capitalist cynicism reveals itself before your very eyes. Go by! Get lost in your own city.

After a successful first edition in the former Shell tower, Tijdelijk Museum (‘Temporary Museum’) now sets up shop in the Bijlmerbajes. At this location, creative breeding ground and shelter for asylum seekers, artists investigate the relationships between the new residents. They have been asked to make new work based on this subject. As a result, Teun Castelein made a ‘Bijlmer hammam’ and Mayra Sergio made a tea landscape. The art collection will continue to grow during the exhibition period.
