The ever surprising programme of this chamber music festival will be in the hands of baritone Thomas Oliemans this year. Next to letting you in on on some of his artistic choices for the festival, he will give a concert with two other great musicians to prepare your ears for the upcoming festival.
Every summer Delft is transformed into a veritable chamber music banquet when the week-long Delft Chamber Music Festival spreads classical music of the highest order throughout the city. In line with the tradition, violinist Liza Ferschtman usually performs a special Sunday morning concert as a warm up for the festival. For this year’s edition however, she invited baritone Thomas Oliemans to be guest curator of the festival. He well therefore have the honour of giving this concert, accompanied by violinist Candida Thompson and pianist Paolo Giacometti, as well as giving some more insight into this year’s programme. The festival takes place from 25 July to 4 August.
