Frequently Asked Questions about We Are Public
How does the In Art We Trust Fund work?
Every month our curators will select 15 of Today’s Makers. Independent makers in particular, whose work has been hit hard by the current circumstances. Makers we think are brilliant and want to enable to keep working. Makers who we want to list in our programme again when the time comes.
We will present the curated list on our website. We will share information about every maker and why we think they are exceptional. We Are Public members will be able to heart the makers on our website.
Another option is to purchase a We Are Public Giftcard, which can be easily activated once we are able to attend programmes again.
How are makers selected?
Our curators will select a group of makers with the help and input of cultural institutions. These will mostly be independent makers, who are hit hard by the current circumstances. Makers we think are brilliant and want to enable to keep working. Makers who we want to list in our programme again when the time comes.
What type of organisation is We Are Public?
We Are Public was initiated by De Nieuwe Cultuur Stichting. We are a cultural ANBI, which means we are fully committed to our social mission rather than profit.
